Brief Description:

 

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders has been the industry standard for the diagnosis of mental health disorders since 1952.  The fifth revision of the Manual was published in May 2013.  The text revision has published in March 2022.  This course will provide an overview of the organization, changes, and transitions from the previous edition, as well as controversies regarding the changes.
