Brief Description:

Have you ever felt lost with how to support the educational needs of your students and/or clients? Join Nicole Seidman, Lead Therapist, and Mike Giresi, Director of Clinical Development at Family First Adolescent Services as they give an overview of common difficulties within the realm of education and learning for adolescents from a complex trauma-informed lens. Early trauma has a profound impact on how we experience and process information from our environment. Understanding the dynamics of complex trauma and their impact on the development of self-regulation, self-image and social engagement is crucial to supporting our youth.
To advance the cause of adolescent care, this inaugural event is presented at no cost to attendees.
