This course will explore the prevalence, signs and how to respond to an overdose.  We will explore what an overdose is, what the signs are and how and when to use Narcan, rescue breathing and CPR.

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course the learner will be able to:

1.  Identify what opioids are.
2.  Explain what an overdose is.  
3.  Discuss the risk factors for opioid overdose.
4.  Respond to an overdose.
5.  Use Narcan in the event of an overdose.
