Brief Description:

This workplace violence course provides information on the extent of violence in the workplace, assessing the hazards in different settings and developing workplace violence prevention plans for individual worksites.

We will explore who is at risk and how violence can be reduced and avoided.

This course will award 2 continuing education hours.

 

Objectives:

 

Upon successful completion of this course the learner will be able to:

  1.  Discuss the threat of violence in the workplace.
  2. Identify areas of potential concern.
  3. Identify ways to reduce and mitigate violence.
