This course explores the essential information and skills required for the safe and effective administration of medications. It will review communication, drug information including packaging, labeling and nomenclature, safe medication management, staff education and competency, and Tennessee Comp.R. & Regulations 0940.05.41.1

- Identify and interpret critical drug information such as packaging, labeling, and nomenclature to ensure accurate medication administration.
- Implement strategies for safe medication management, including dosage calculation, drug interaction assessment, and error prevention.
- Comprehend and adhere to Tennessee Comp.R. & Regulations 0940.05.41.1 governing medication administration, ensuring compliance and promoting patient safety.
