Recovery Management CRSS
This course provides a clinically focused overview of addiction as a chronic, relapsing condition, integrating neurobiological mechanisms, pharmacological considerations, and the stages of recovery. Emphasis is placed on recovery management, identification and treatment considerations for co-occurring disorders, and evidence-based relapse prevention strategies. The curriculum further examines motivational enhancement approaches and risk reduction strategies to address cross-addiction, supporting comprehensive and sustained recovery-oriented care.
This course will award 17 continuing education hours.
