Counselors are often called upon to provide education about the disease of addiction, its causes, and its consequences to clients, their family members, and the community at large.
The Florida Certification Board approves this course and meets the 15-hour requirement for the Client, Family, and Community Education Domain for the initial application for the CAP credentials. - Be knowledgeable about bloodborne pathogens.
- Understand the theories of counseling.
