First Aid
First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person suffering from either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life or prevent the condition from worsening. In some cases, it may be the only care someone needs, while in others, it may help them until paramedics arrive or they are taken to the hospital. The best way to prepare for these events is to get official first aid certification, but in addition, or until you are able to do so, this course will offer some basic aid and life-saving steps.
This course will award 1 continuing education hour.
