Re-engagement Crisis Support CRSS
This specialized course is designed for professionals seeking to enhance their skills in managing high-risk situations and crises. The curriculum covers essential topics such as risk assessment and crisis management techniques, providing participants with strategies to identify and mitigate potential threats effectively. A significant focus is also placed on understanding and addressing domestic violence, equipping participants with the knowledge to recognize signs and provide appropriate intervention. Aggression control training is another key component, where participants learn techniques to de-escalate aggressive behavior safely and effectively. Additionally, the course includes a module on emergency response to weapons on site, preparing participants to react promptly and safely in the event of an armed threat. This course is approved by the Florida Certification Board for those seeking a Certified Recovery Support Specialist credential. It meets the 13-hour requirement for the Re-engagement, Crisis Support, and Safety Domain.

Course Objectives
