Whole Health Content (WHAM) - CRPS
This comprehensive course is designed for Certified Recovery Peer Specialists (CRPS) who wish to enhance their skills in promoting holistic health and wellness among individuals in recovery. Whole Health Action Management (WHAM) integrates evidence-based practices and peer support to empower individuals to improve their overall health and well-being. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to guide others in managing physical, emotional, and mental health through goal-setting, self-management, and peer support techniques.
This course will award 12 continuing education hours.

- Understand the principles and foundations of Whole Health Action Management (WHAM).
- Apply self-management strategies to promote holistic health and wellness.
- Facilitate peer support groups focused on whole health and recovery.
- Develop and implement individualized health action plans with peers.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive health behaviors.
- Identify and address barriers to holistic health in diverse populations.
- Integrate WHAM practices into existing recovery support programs.

- Course Completion Information: To earn continuing education credit, professionals must register and pay the fee for the course. They must read the content and demonstrate understanding by earning a minimum score of 70 percent on testing materials. The certificate of completion will be able to be downloaded after the above is completed. Refunds will be granted upon request with the withdrawal of credit for the course.
