Abuse Reporting in Ohio
This course will explore the requirements for reporting child and elder abuse in Ohio. We will look at which professionals are required to report. We will explore the timeline for reporting and the procedures that must take place.
Course Objectives
- Identify the signs and symptoms of abuse of children and/or the elderly.
- Identify who is mandated to report suspected abuse.
- Identify how to make contact the Department of Children and Families.
- Identify what information is needed to make a report.
- Discuss the Florida legislation regarding reporting abuse.
