Application To Practice Professional Readiness-Florida Certification Board CAC
This course reviews essential competencies in behavioral health practice, including crisis intervention, ethical decision-making, counseling techniques, and trauma-informed care. Content addresses legal standards related to confidentiality and HIPAA, treatment models, medication-assisted treatment, and culturally responsive practice. Emphasis is placed on leadership, supervision, research application, wellness strategies, and professional self-care to support effective and ethical service delivery.
This course will award 60 continuing education hours.
