Street Drugs
Street drugs are dangerous and plentiful. There is no way to know how strong they are or what else might be in them, but their use remains popular despite the risks.
Given the recent proliferation of new street drugs, it is imperative to remain vigilant and informed about the hazards of substance abuse.
This course will explore Krokodil, Flakka, Bath Salts, Xylazine, Slavia, Spice and others.
This course will award 1 continuing education hour.

- Understand the dangers associated with street drugs, including the unpredictable potency and potential contaminants present in these substances.
- Identify the common street drugs prevalent in society today, including Krokodil, Flakka, Bath Salts, Xylazine, Slavia, Spice, and others, along with their respective effects on the body and mind.
- Analyze the reasons behind the popularity of street drugs despite the known risks and consequences, exploring societal, cultural, and individual factors contributing to their use.
- Develop strategies for harm reduction and risk mitigation when encountering or navigating situations involving street drugs, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and vigilant about substance abuse hazards.
