This course reviews regulatory and quality requirements for point-of-care and CLIA-waived testing. Topics include personnel competency, quality control, specimen handling, equipment maintenance, documentation, result reporting, and prevention of preanalytical, analytical, and postanalytical errors. Emphasis is placed on standardized procedures, regulatory compliance, and practices that support accurate results and patient safety.
