
This course will explore the requirements for recognizing and reporting abuse in Kentucky. The course will list who mandated reporters are, when a report is warranted, and how to make the report when it is necessary. We will explore the timeline for reporting and the procedures that must occur.

Relevance and Target Audience: This course is designed for master’s level counselors, addiction professionals, and nurses who work in a Kentucky setting where they will come in contact with vulnerable populations who might be experiencing abuse.

Course Completion Information: To earn continuing education credit, professionals must register and pay the fee for the course. They must read the content and demonstrate understanding by earning a minimum score of 70 percent on testing materials. The certificate of completion will be able to be downloaded after the above is completed. Refund or Cancellation will be granted upon request with the withdrawal of credit for the course.
