Exploring ASAM Levels and Criteria

The ASAM Criteria 4th Edition, developed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, is a widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for placement, continued stay, and transfer or discharge of addiction patients and those with co-occurring conditions.

This course will provide an overview of the criteria, levels of care, and best practices derived from these guidelines.

  2. Explore the criteria they developed for admitting addiction clients.
