Participants will learn developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches, evidence-based practices, strategies for engagement, and techniques for addressing common adolescent challenges in clinical practice.

Course Objectives

  1. Identify developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions for adolescents.
  2. Apply evidence-based strategies to address common adolescent mental health disorders.
  3. Demonstrate effective methods for building therapeutic rapport and engagement with adolescents.
  4. Recognize ethical considerations specific to clinical work with adolescent populations.
  5. Develop culturally responsive treatment plans tailored to diverse adolescent client needs.
