Formerly known as dual diagnosis or dual disorder, co-occurring disorders describe the presence of both mental health and substance-use disorder.  This course will explore the definition of terms used, most common substances, mental disorders that co-exist, symptoms, causes, and treatments for co-occurring disorders.
