Florida Certification Board Master's Level Certified Professional (MCAP) Initial Application Content Specific Training Bundle
CERTIFICATION INFORMATION:
The Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) is a professional credential awarded by the Florida Certification Board for people who provide services to individuals with substance use conditions. BaysideCEU does not award the certification. We offer all of the necessary content-specific training as one of the requirements for applying to the board.
The MCAP is an advanced practice credential for people who work side-by-side with clinical staff to provide services to individuals with substance use conditions.
Beyond the 161 hours of content-specific training you receive from BaysideCEU, an applicant must also hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in a related clinical counseling field, approximately 4,000 hours of work experience (2 full-time years), and 200 hours of on-the-job supervision by a qualified supervisor. The applicant is also subject to a Florida Certification Board exam. Please see the Florida Certification Board’s website for full application requirements.
This course will award 161 continuing education hours covering the MCAP content-specific domains.
