Florida APRN/RN/LPN/CNA Renewal Access
This product grants you access to our entire catalog of courses for one year. This will allow you to select the courses necessary to fulfill Florida’s requirements, all for one flat fee.
Florida Board of Nursing requires RNs and LPNs to complete:
24 hours (26 when Domestic Violence is due) of board-approved courses every 2 years by April 30th of even years (group 1), July of even years (group 2) and April 30th of odd years (group 3) to include:
16 General Hours
2 hours in Prevention of Medical Errors- Bayside suggests our course titled Medical Error Prevention in Nursing
2 hours in Florida Laws and Rules- Bayside suggests our course titled Florida Laws and Rules in Nursing
3 hours in Human Trafficking- Bayside suggests our course titled Human Trafficking and Exploitation
2 hours in Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace- Bayside suggests our course titled Recognizing Impairment in the Workplace (every other renewal)
2 hours of Domestic Violence-Bayside suggests our course titled Domestic Violence (due every third renewal and is in addition to the 24 hours required for renewal)
1 hour of HIV/AIDS-Bayside suggests our course titled HIV/Aids Update for Florida Healthcare Providers (one-time requirement prior to first renewal)
Florida Board of Nursing requires APRNs to complete:

*Safe and Effective Prescription of Controlled Substances Bayside is NOT approved to offer this course. Must be offered by a statewide professional association of physicians in this state accredited to provide educational activities designated for the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award Category 1 credit, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and may be offered in a distance learning format.
