California LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LPCC Renewal Access
This product grants you access to our entire catalog of over 100 courses for one year. This will allow you to take what courses you need/choose to fulfill your state’s requirements.
The California Board of Behavioral Sciences requires LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCS, and LEPs to complete:
36 hours of ASWB or NBCC-approved courses every 2 years from your date of license Issue to include:
6 hours of California Laws and Ethics for Mental Health Professionals
*ONE TIME courses required for renewal for LCSWs, LPCCs, LMFTs and LEPs must also complete:
6 hours of Suicide Assessment and Intervention
3 hours of Telehealth (must incude legal and ethical issues related to telehealth)
You will locate these courses by title in the Explore All Available Courses tab.
Additionally, in the Explore All Available Courses tab, select any titles necessary to bring the total completed to a minimum of 36 required. Any of these will meet the California requirements. If you need additional assistance selecting courses, please email [email protected].
*First-time LMFT, LCSW, LPCC renewals are required to complete 7 hours of HIV/Aids.
*First-time LEP renewals are required to complete Child Abuse Assessment and Reporting 7 hours and Alcoholism and Other Chemical Substance Dependency 15 hours. BaysideCEU does not offer the LEP first time renewal courses.
